Terms of service

These terms govern use of Viton. By creating a workspace you agree to them on behalf of your organisation.

The service

Viton provides voice-first surveys and batch voice analysis. Plans, included volumes and overage rates are shown in the app under Usage & billing and may be updated with notice.

Your responsibilities

• You must have a lawful basis to collect voice recordings from your respondents, and must present the consent notice we provide.
• You must not use Viton to record people without their knowledge, or to make automated decisions about individuals based on emotion scores.
• You are responsible for the content of your surveys and for the accuracy of any claims you make to respondents.
• You must not attempt to re-identify anonymised respondents.

Acceptable use

No unlawful, harassing or deceptive surveys; no attempts to circumvent rate limits, quotas or tenant isolation; no reverse engineering of the service.

Availability and data

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on non-enterprise plans. You own your data. You can export it at any time — per survey, per analysis batch, or the whole workspace as one file from Settings. Deleting your workspace permanently removes its surveys, responses and recordings; the security log keeps a record that the deletion happened.

Analysis is an estimate

Transcription, sentiment and emotion outputs are probabilistic. Viton is provided without warranty that any particular analysis is accurate, and our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding three months.
